John Wheeler frm The National won the 2016 Yarra Courses Seniors Championships which was played at Yerring Meadows Golf Club. Competitors found the course tough with John's 76 winning by 1 shot from Shane McCarthy from Latrobe with a further shot back to Mark Brasher from Kew.

The Nett event was taken out by Tom Richardson (RACV Cape Schanck) with a fine Nett 70 and 3 shots ahead of Gary House from Sanctuary Lakes and Peter Bywaters back to Cranbourne.
