Ian Frost from Bendigo had a good win in this year's Surfcoast Seniors at Torquay Sands. He won by 1 shot from 13th Beach's Barry Tippett. The win took Ian to the lead in this year's Bachli Trophy. Good weather conditions were conducive to relatively low scoring.

The Nett event was won by newcomer Ken Rogers from Victoria GC on a countback from Colac's Gregh Welsh.

Helen Nolan from Albury won the women's event with stableford rounds of 36 and 29.surfcoast2014
