Ian Frost from Rich River won this year's Northern Senior Amateur with a fine 72 followed up with a 77 to win by 3 shots over Midland's Rob Wallace (75,77). Ian was still the defending champion as the event was not run last year due to course development. The course now has 2 new holes.

The Nett event was taken out by Wayne Aigner from Sandhurst (Nett 74, 69) just one shot ahead of local Brian Smith (75,69).

There was also a small field of Women with Heather Harley from Kooringal winning with 60 points and Helen Pascoe from Buninyong winning the scratch event with 60 points.

Disappointing numbers turned up this year, after a year off, to see the revamped course. Conditions were reasonable especially given the heavy overnight rain Monday night.
