Barry Tippett from Barwon Heads won this year's Melton Valley Seniors with a fine 73 by one shot from Andrew Hansen from Eastern and last year's winner and local Mick Kaufman. This was only the second Bachli event Barry has played this year.

Local Butch Ridgeway scorched his way to a great win in the Nett event with a 64 Nett, just one shot ahead of fellow local Bob Grant.

The women's event was taken out by Kerry Scales from Port Fairy with 38 points and Helen Pascoe took out the scratch event with 29 points.
