Tom Harold from Darwin won this year's Northern Senior Amateur with rounds of 75, 74 to beat Metropolitan's Doug Francis (75, 74) on a close count-back with a further 3 shots back to Malcolm Barnes from Neangar Park (75,77).

The Nett event was taken out by Keith Finkelde from Latrobe (Nett 74,68) by just one shot over local Russell Righton (75,68), on a countback over Tom Harold (72,71) and Lou Villani from Melbourne Airport (72,71).

In the Women's event Liz Alston from Winchelsea won with 64 points and local, Angela Villani won the scratch event with 36 points.

The small field contended with ordinary weather with with showers day one and fine conditions day two, and the course was presented in great condition.
