Chris Tatt from Buninyong had a resounding win in this year's Bendigo Senior Amateur. After an opening 1 under 71 he shot a 5 under 67 to finish 6 under the card and 9 shots ahead of runner-up John Kelly from Metropolitan (77,70). Local favorite Ian Frost was a further 2 shots back. Chris off a 1 handicap also had the best Nett score by 4 shots, an impressive performance.

The Nett event was taken out by local Gerard O'Sullivan (Nett 72,68) by one shot ahead of Melton's Mick Kaufman (70,71).

There was also a womens event with Elizabeth Alston winning with 70 stableford points and Helen Pascoe taking out the scratch event with 62 points.

The event was very successful with 81 players enjoying perfect weather conditions.
