DSC01406David Robb, after his maiden seniors win at Shepparton, followed up in the same week with his second seniors win, at Tocumal. Exactly as per Shepparton he finished strongly, with the low round of the event from the second seeded group, to overtake the leaders and win. His 77,74 was 1 shot better than Greg Holmes from Broadford (75,77) with a further 2 shots back to consistent performer Malcolm Barnes from Neangar Park (79, 75).

In the opening round there were two exceptional scores - Patrick Mitchell from Eastern had a 76 nett 64 to be one off the gross pace off his 12 handicap. Wayne Moriarty from Commercial Albury had  a 75 nett 68 to be equal leader off his 7 handicap - great efforts.

Patrick Mitchell went on to win the Nett (64,71) by 3 shots over Chris Mansour from Centenary Park (70,68).

The womens event was won by Heather Harley from Kooringal with 67 points on a countback over Judy Langford from Wodonga.

The numbers were a little disappointing this year after a restricted field on a composite course last year. The weather and course conditions were much improved this year. The courses were in excellent condition and weather conditions were ideal, except the frost on day 2 preventing the cutting of the greens.
