Back to back wins at Hepburn Springs!
Ian Frost won his 2nd consecutive Hepburn Springs Senior Amateur with fine rounds of 69,68 to beat local Neil Egan (69,69) by just one shot, with a further 4 shots back to Rob Wallace (70,72) from Midlands.
John Hoare from Packenham also won consecutive Nett titles at Hepburn Springs with nett 65, 66 to beat 3 others by just one shot. Bernard Frith from Hepburne Springs (67,65), Neil Egan (66,66) and Brian Spalding from Kooringal (65,67).
There was also a women's event with local Shirley Rodda winning with 66 stableford points and Helen Pascoe winning the scratch event with 55 points.
The course was in great condition, especially compared to last year when lead up weather made it tough. The greens were tricky but fair and the club put on a successful & popular event that is expected to improve the numbers further next year. Weather conditions were ideal.
