Doug Francis from Metropolitan won the 2017 Box Hill Seniors. He has just turned 55 in the last week and made a great debut to the Seniors. His 73 was 2 shots ahead of Australian Seniors champion Kym Olsen and Mick Streit from Paterson River with 75's.

The Nett event was taken out by Chris Clark from Gunamatta with a Nett 70 1 shot ahead of Paul Williams from Kew and Mark Abeyaratne from Peninsula-Kingswood.

The women's event was taken out by June Tickell from Trafalgar with 34 points and Helen Pascoe from Buninyong won the scratch event again with 32 points.

The weather was fine, the course was in great condition and the lunch and prizes were great - a very successful event.
