Mornington1Wayne Aigner from Sandhurst has won this year's Mornington Seniors. His 72 at Flinders was 2 off the pace but his 77 at Portsea secured the title on a countback over Ian Frost (70, 79) from Bendigo, with a further 2 shots back to Tim Kirtley from 13th Beach.

Wayne is a long time Seniors regular and this is his first victory since 2008. His putter worked well for 2 days.

Although Wayne streeted the Nett field by 10 shots the Nett trophy was won by Tim Kirtly (69,74) on a countback over Chris Keeshan (68, 75) from Centenary Park.

The women's scratch event was taken out by June Tickell from Trafalgar and the stableford event by Maryann Elson from The Dunes.

Both courses were presented in great condition and the weather was perfect both days.
