DSC00766Chris Tatt (76,72) from Buninyong in one of his infrequent Senior's events won the Tocumwal Seniors by 2 shots from Bachli leader Ian Frost (78,72) from Bendigo. They both shot good par 72s in the second round, but Chris excellent 76 in round one in very tough conditions gave him the advantage.

Kery Boehm won the Nett event with 2 great rounds (71,70). He played one of his best senior events also finishing 3rd equal in the gross event, to be 5 shots ahead of Nett runner up George Kotaridis (70,76) from Kew.

Helen Pascoe (27, 26) from Buninyong won the women's scratch event and local Bobette Wilkinson won the handicap (33, 31).

Round one was played on The President's course in very wet conditions. The countryside was in need of good rain and unfortunately for the golfers usually sunny Tocumwal turned on the rain for round one. Although the rain cleared for the second nine it was almost called off early in the round with some greens starting to go under water. 18 players did not finish or did not even start the first round. The second round on The Captain's course was played in cool but more typical Tocumwal clear conditions.
