Andrew Hansen (79,75) from Eastern has won the inaugural Warragul Senior Amateur. He won on a very close countback over Ross Percy (79,75) with a further 2 shots back to local overnight leader Ron Magill (78,78) and Guy Krall from The National (81,75).
The Nett event was taken out by Ignatius Duivenvoorden from Yarram (70,69) by one shot over local Ron Magill (70,70).
The Womens scratch event was taken out by Kooringal's Heather Harley with local Glenda Kelly taking out the handicap event.
Warragul Country Club put on a good event and turned the course out in great condition. Hopefully the word will get out and the numbers will improve in future years.
