Ian Frost from Bendigo clearly won this year's Cobram Barooga Seniors event. In good conditions round 1 on the Old course he carded a par 72 to lead the large field by 1 shot. He extended the lead to 2 after round 2 on the West course in very windy conditions carding 77. His 3rd round 76 was good enough to extend the lead to 4 over Michael Jackson (Yarra Yarra) (73,78,78). Alan Bullas, Greg O'Brien and Gary Hunt were a further shot back.
The Nett event was taken out by local Colin Rankin (70, 71, 72) by one shot over Leongatha's Russell Williams (71,70,73) and a further 4 shots back to Greg O'Brien from Howlong and David Shiells from Shepparton.
As well as a strong field of 117 for the Bachli event the club also hosted 138 additional senior players for a Men's Stableford event and Womens events.
Another very successful and well organised event at Cobram which includes the 4BBB event on the Wednesday rest day and a well organised presentation dinner on Thursday evening.
