Alan Bullas from Commonwealth won this year's Mornington Peninsula Seniors with rounds of 72 at Flinders Golf Club and 83 at his 2nd home course Portsea. He Beat Bendigo's Ian Frost (74, 83) by 2 shots.
The Nett event was won by first time senior player Adrian Harris from Glen Waverley with 2 Nett rounds of 72 to beat Paul Fink from RACV Cape Schanck (74, 71) by 1 shot on countback from Lonsdale's Jeff Wall.
Maryanne Elson from The Dunes won the women's event by 3 points over Box Hill's Jenny Long.
Although the weather was threatening at Flinders play proceeded in reasonable but windy weather. Again no rain at Portsea but conditions were cold and windy and the greens were quick and difficult. The scores were a reflection with nobody breaking 80.
