The Surfcoast Seniors was played at the Sands in Torquay in relatively good conditions, and the course setup was generous with relatively short tees. The locals were prominent.
Local David Mallett (73,75) won the event convincingly by 3 shots from last year's winner and fast finisher Ian Frost (81,70) from Bendigo.
The Nett event was also won by a local, Graeme Altmann (70,73) by one shot over George Kotaridis (73,71) from Kew.
Annette Bain from The Heritage won the womens event with 63 points, 1 point ahead of three others.
