DSC016371Pat Giles again! He won the Mornington Peninsula Seniors on a countback from overnight leader Ken O'Brien from Rossdale (71,75). After winning the previous event at Bright and playing under his age he came close to his age again with rounds of 72, 74 at Flinders and then Portsea.

Paul Bray from Metropolitan has taken the lead in the Paul Lulofs Trophy (Nett) with his win in the Nett with Nett scores of 67 & 68 to lead Peter Doyle from Flinders (69, 69) by 3 shots.

A small field of Women also played with Annette Bain from Heritage (31, 27) beating Maryann Elson from The Dunes on a countback.

The event was played in good conditions and Portsea impressed with its new clubhouse and great hospitality. The courses were both in excellent condition and it was like playing a new course at Portsea with the hole sequence changed to move around the centrally located clubhouse.
