Pat Giles from Goonawarra has won another Bright Senior Amateur. He did it in style beating his age in the second round (75,70) to beat Ray Walker (last year's winner) by 3 shots. Pat won the event 2 years ago winning an epic 7 hole playoff and in his acceptance speech suggested Bright would be a fine location for next year's Victorian Senior Amateur.
Royal Melbourne's Neil Collier (73,68) won the Nett on a countback from Yarram's Ignatius Duivenvoorden (67,74).
It was another very successful event at Bright. The weather was perfect, the course was in great condition and the club put on great hospitality with their lunches, snacks and the popular dinner. Again one of the most popular events on the Victorian tour.
