Gordon Claney from Kingston Heath claimed another victory in this year's Bachli with a fine win in the inaugural Bendigo Seniors. With rounds of 70, 69 on the par 72 layout he beat playing partner for both days, local Ian Frost (70,75) by six shots.
The Nett event was won by 'local' Barry Miles with very good rounds of Nett 66, 69 to beat Yarram's Ignatius Duivenvoorden by two shots on a count back over Gary House from Sanctuary Lakes.
There was also a good field of women golfers with the best gross being taken out be Kyneton's Denise Murphy and the best stableford by Ruth McAlister from Lakeside - Lake Boga
