Ray Walker from Chirnside Park won the inaugural Box Hill Seniors on countback from Rossdale's Tony Hyde with a 1 over 72. The win was Ray's second for the year but the points elevated Tony to the top of this year's Bachli standings.
Grahame Bone from Commonwealth won the Nett event with a Nett 68 by 2 shots over Trafalgar's John Hoare.
Wayne Phillips from Heritage had his first hole in one on the "19th" hole.
This was the inaugural Box Hill Seniors event and a reasonable field were very impressed by the course, its condition and the way the club ran the event including the presentations and lunch. The weather was perfect and the course is set in a beautiful location. No doubt the numbers will improve in future years as the news gets out.
