royalmelbourne32013The ‘Sandbelt’ week continued at Royal Melbourne (West course) with another capacity field of 100 players and another day of windy and difficult conditions. Scores confirmed the difficult conditions.

Sandhurst’s David McDonald with an 81 won the event on countback from Spring Valley’s Gary Easte. David is an old time regular who has not been seen quite as regularly in recent years.

Sanctuary Lake’s Gary House with a Nett 76 won the Nett by 2 shots from Kooringal’s Gary Scott and Gary Easte. A gross 91 was required for the top 30 gross scores and Nett 84 for the to 30 Nett – difficult conditions!
