The Lonsdale Senior Amateur was contested by a small field of 38 in good conditions. Chirnside Park’s Ray Walker won by 3 shots with a 76 and a great final round of 70 from Colac’s Greg Welsh who was also equal second in last year’s event. Ex local member and now at 13th Beach, Alan Hunter played great golf with nett rounds of 69 & 64 off his 10 handicap to win the Nett event by 7 shots from Graham Bone and Ignatius Duivenvoorden.
